Who likes mermaids? I love Them! They Are Magical and beautiful, sometimes they put bad and sometimes you put them good, both ways I like!

These siren doughnuts will exhume you with their beauty, which you don’t want to eat. They Are Perfect for a party and taking advantage of spring break.

Recipe:

Ingredients:

⁃ 1 cup flour

⁃ 1/4 cup brown light sugar

⁃ 1/4 tsp baking soda

⁃ 1/8 tsp Salt.

⁃ 1/4 tsp instant coffee.

⁃ 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa Powder.

⁃ 1/4 cup coconut oil

⁃ 1/4 cup whole milk.

⁃ 1 egg

⁃ 1/4 tsp vanilla

Glaze

⁃ 1 cup Powdered sugar

⁃ 2 tbsp whole milk.

⁃ 1 tsp vanilla.

⁃ Blue, purple, green, and yellow dye in gel

⁃ Sprinkles

⁃ Fondant

Preparation.

⁃ Preheat the oven to 350ΒΊ F

⁃ In a bowl mix together the dry ingredients ( flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, coffee, cocoa powder)

⁃ In another bowl mix together the wet ingredients (coconut oil, whole milk, coffee, egg and vanilla) .

⁃ Combine the wet mixture with the dry mixture.

⁃ Fill a piping bag with the donut batter and pipe into a donut pan 3/4 the way up each ring.

⁃ Bake for 10 minutes,

⁃ Make the glaze mix together powdered sugar, whole milk, vanilla, and blue dye gel.

– place the glaze on the doughnut while they are cold and sprinkles with sprinkles. Make the fins of fondant mermai s with a silicon mold.
